Layer Stack demonstration.
Colors, shadows, and background elements are put below the lineart layer, which is set to the "Linear Burn" color blending setting. "Glow" layers are put on top of the lineart layer.
The main color layer is accompanied by a white "masking" layer below it. This is because the main color layer uses a palette that is 80% opaque. Therefore to retain the fidelity of the main color layer, a white "masking" layer is required.
There are two shading layers. The first is set to around 80% opacity while the second is set to around 50%. Both shading layers use the "Multiply" color blending setting and use the color RGB(135,69,69).
Extra tints are added on top of the colors using Color Blending settings such as "Hard Light" and "Overlay."
The piece is processed in Enlight (iOS) twice and put back into the Autodesk: Sketchbook (iOS) file for the embers and cross-shine effect on the dragon eye.
